The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI) is charged with regulating construction businesses, codes, licensing and enforcement throughout the state.

All contractors working in the state of Minnesota must be licensed. You can use this link to view the contractor license search through the Department of Industry and Labor website.
3   Link   Minnesota State Building Code - effective July 2007
The Minnesota State Building Code includes many components such as the fire code, mechanical code, plumbing code and electrical code. In addition, Minnesota has adopted the International Residential Code (IRC). However, the IRC is copyright material and available only by purchase. Custom Craft Builders, Inc maintains a copy of the IRC in its office.
